Members of the Westboro Baptist church were taunted by rock band Foo Fighters, when the extremist Christian group picketed the band’s show in Kansas City, Missouri on Friday.

The church announced plans to picket the band’s concert on August 30th, following many previous occasions where the group has planned to picket pop concerts in the area.
Hours before their show at the Sprint Center, the band showed up on the picket line of the Westboro Baptist church on the back of an American flag decked rig truck in country trucker costumes.
The band performed their spoof country song "Keep It Clean (Hot Buns)”, drowning out protests from the anti-gay group with lyrics such as: "Driving all night, got a hankering for something, Think I'm in the mood for some hot-man muffins, Mmmm, sounds so fine, yes indeed."
The Westboro Baptist Church website states on it’s website that it opposes "the homosexual lifestyle of soul-damning, nation-destroying filth," and that "the modern militant homosexual movement" poses "a clear and present danger to the survival of America, exposing our nation to the wrath of God."
