Top Doc says act less gay to pass exams!

A senior doctor has been accused of telling medical students to avoid acting gay if they want to pass their exams.

According to the Independent, Dr Una Coales made the recommendations in a guide setting out ways in which minority candidates can “neutralise bias”.

Journalist Patrick Strudwick reports that Dr Coales is now being investigated by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP).

US Teen Sues school board

The gay teenager from Indianapolis who had been expelled from school for taking a stun-gun to school for protection from the homophobic bullies that had plagued his school days, is now suing the public school system for failing to protect him from bullying.

Darnell Young, 17, and his mother Chelisa Grimes, filed the lawsuit on Friday in Indianapolis, seeking unspecified damages over several recent incidents of bullying.  These incidents all lead Darnell Young to fire the stun-gun in school which then resulted in his expulsion from the  Tech High School.

Legal representatives working for the family said that Indianapolis Public Schools had failed to protect Darnell Young from homophobic bullying, and that they had discriminated against him for his sexuality.    Christopher F. Stoll, from the National Centre for Lesbian Rights,  who is working on the case said,  “All students should be able to get an education without fearing for their physical safety, and they should be able to rely on school administrators to protect them when abuse does occur.”

The row between Chick-fil-A and human and gay rights activists and supports seems no signs of slowing down, in fact it is all set to increase to near epic proportions! Wednesday 1st August was an ’appreciation’ day orchestrated mainly by Mike Huckabee and the homophobic Christian movement, which saw many turning out in force to support the anti-gay chain and its chief executive Dan Cathy.

But why? Well, Cathy has not been shy and retiring when it comes to his views on same sex marriage, in fact he has been rather vocal about the whole thing saying, ‘if you support gay marriage, you "are inviting God's judgment on our nation," and that we "shake our fist at Him" when we do. That’s not all, he also said same-sex marriage is the result of a "deprived" mind and called it "twisted up kind of stuff.”

Italian Police Withdraw Homophobic Wording.

Red faces all round Rome last week when Italian police were forced to apologise after they were required to change an official training manual which claimed homosexuality  was a "sexual deviance"  and listed it in the same category as bestiality, incest and necrophilia.

The offensive and homophobic passage in the 585-page manual, which was being used internally during training and officer exams within the Carabinieri police force, read: "The main sexual deviances are homosexuality, exhibitionism, fetishism, sadism, incest and bestiality."

There was a mass outcry from Italian gay and human rights group and the Carabinieri made a hasty red faced apology.  It was "an unfortunate mistake," said the Carabinieri's commander general Leonardo Gallitelli, adding that the text "was based on an obsolete formula".  Gallitelli said the offending passage was "immediately cancelled".

Paolo Patane, the head of gay rights group Arcigay, said he was "pleasantly surprised" by the correction and said the original passage was "incredible."

Paola Concia, a member of parliament said before the correction was made that the passage was "shameful".   Considering homosexuality as a type of deviant behaviour "goes against all the laws of the state," she said.

A Crawley Town FC midfielder posted a tweet on his twitter account last month reading: “Gays all over the tele what’s wrong with Britain! Sorry I’m #FullyHomophobic.”

This week, Hope Akpan was fined £1,200 after admitting the FA misconduct charge.

St. Petersburg latest Russian region to want anti-gay law

St. PETERSBURG, Russia — Two regions of Russia – Arkhangelsk and Ryazan – have passed laws banning what they call gay “propoganda.” The laws have been deemed constitutional by Russian courts despite the chilling of free speech and the attack on LGBT organizing and ability to protest that they represent,

Now the St. Petersburg region wants to introduce a similar law.

The proposed law, introduced 11 November in the legal committee of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly prohibits so-called propaganda of ‘sodomy, lesbianism, bisexualism and transgenderism, and pedophilia to minors’. The bill was introduced by Vladimir Putin’s United Russia party

Ohio teen attack at school talks.

It was a horrible video of a young teenager attacked at school just for being gay that shocked many.

The attacker waited for his victim, filmed by his cousin,  then his victim walked in and was viciously attacked and beaten up. 

I can still recall the video,  it shocked me not least because nobody intervened.  See the following of the horrific beating  at Unioto-Scioto High School in Chillicothe, Ohio. 

Over 1000 attend Stuart Walker's funeral.

  More than 1000 people attended the funeral of the murdered barman Stuart Walker last week.

It was a crime that attracted worldwide headlines due to the horrific way in which  Mr Walker died.  The young gay man was found “horrible” injuries at a lampost near an industrial estate in the Scottish town of Cumnock last month.  Not only had he been savagely beaten he had also been set on fire. 

Many of the Cumnock's  9000 inhabitants attended the funeral service for the man that was the “life and soul of our family” according to his sister.    She also said: “You were our ray of sunshine when you were here. And now you will forever be our brightest star, watching over us.”

The day of Stuart’s death, 22 October, was described as “one of the darkest in Cumnock’s recent history” by the vicar, Reverend Patterson.  A Leona Lewis track was played as around 600 mourners following the hearse to the town cemetery.

Earlier this month an  18-year-old who was arrested and has now been charged with murder, theft and attempting to pervert the course of justice.  Ryan Esquierdo, also from Cumnock, remains in police custody, however as yet there are no answer to question the family and the community most desperately seek,    why he had taken the life is this friendly and popular man.

 

Liverpool church linked to “home exorcisms” to cure gays

 The Frontline Church, Liverpool, which runs courses “helping Christian men and women out of homosexuality” has been described as being part of the “Dark Ages”.

The church’s courses are connected to the American LIFE Ministry, whose website instructs gay readers on home “exorcism”.

A document published on the Liverpool church’s website claimed people became gay as a result of “pain in childhood”.

David Kato's Murderer Sentenced.

Mukono High Court has on Thursday sentenced Sidney Nsubuga Enoch, 22, the man suspected to have murdered a gay rights activist in January this year, to 30 years in prison.

The 30 year sentence was passed by Justice Joseph Mulangira after Nsubuga admitted to have murdered David Kato 46, on 26th January 2011. This verdict was passed based on the evidence produced in court by the lead state prosecutor, Ms. Loe Karungi.

Daily Mail's Melanie Phillips is the BIGOT of the year!

 Daily Mail columnist Melanie Phillips took on strong competition at Thursday night’s Stonewall Awards to become the charity’s Bigot of the Year.

Phillips was chosen by the Stonewall supporters as the figure to most notably have “gone out of their way to harm, hurt or snub lesbian, gay and bisexual people in the last year”.

In January, she accused the government of trying to brainwash children by including references to gays in lessons about censuses and population movement, and by teaching about the roles of the male in other species. Reports the UK's Pink News.

Brighton FC calls for more action regarding anti-gay chanting.

The FA need to do more to address homophobic chanting in football grounds, argue fans of Brighton and Hove Albion FC.Many supporters of the club complain they experience hostility because the city is famous for being gay-friendly.

Sick Attack On Gay Teen Inside Ohio School Room.

Alarming cell phone footage has emerged of an Ohio high school student seen waited in a classroom, buoying himself up in readiness to physically attack a fell classmate. The following vicious assault captured on the phone clearly shows the 15-year-old being savagely beaten. "I covered myself and shielded my body, and he kept hitting," the young gay student told the local TV news programme,   WSYX  adding  "Nobody did anything."

To me that is perhaps more worrying that the attack itself, that nobody seems to be at all bothered that a gay student is being beaten in an obviously planned attack.  Not a single person even raised a voice in opposition to hail of punches unleashed by the attacker.  The other students just watch as the attacker waited for his victim to arrive in the classroom. Then shoved his prey to the ground, and repeatedly punched him in the face.

If I were to mention the word exodus to you, what would you think?  Migration or evacuation might come to mind, but for many all over the world the mention of the name Exodus is greeted with horror, anger and fear.  For Exodus is an American organisation of global religious ministries that claims to ‘cure’ gays with some very alarming practises.

Exorcisms, hugging, behavioural management and marriage are all among those alarming methods used by Exodus Christian ministries to "heal" or “cure” homosexuals according to a former leader who has now seen the light and wants such things stamped out.

Paul Martin became one of the main counsellors at the Melbourne branch of Exodus Asia Pacific during his 20’s has told local Australian newspapers, that after signing up to the Exodus ministries, parishioners would partake in various “treatment programs” which included focused prayer groups, counselling, and exercises, even exorcisms designed to cast out their inner ‘gay’ demons.

The Exodus message stems from the idea that homosexuality stems from a childhood love-deficit, that you weren't loved enough by your father and so crave love from men, or that you were sexually abused; basically that homosexuality comes from a bad place, that homosexuals are damaged people, and that Exodus will heal your brokenness, according to Paul Martin.

Attack On Gay Student By Bully At Union-Scioto High School In Chillicothe, Ohio Under Investigation

Authorities are continuing to evaluate evidence in thealleged attack on a gay Ohio teen whose mother believes may have been targeted due to his sexual orientation.

Video of the incident that appears to show the attacker, who has not been named, waiting for the gay student inside a classroom was posted on Facebook. The grainy footage is believed to have been shot on the aggressor's cousin's cell phone. Still, as The Chillicothe Gazette reports, no one else has come forward who believes the fight may have been motivated by the sexual orientation of the victim, who has chosen to remain anonymous:

Perhaps we should start making laws that say that only female doctors can attend to women? Linda Harvey of Mission America, one of those lovely Right Wing groups that are responsible for things like the Defense of Marriage Act and Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, is now saying that lesbian and gay doctors should not be allowed to tend to children. Oh, and lesbian or gay nurses should not tend to children either.

Teacher of hate Jerry Buell insists being gay is irrelevant to gay marriage debate

The complete bigot and homophobic hate monger  was last year was named Teacher of the Year at Mount Dora High School in South Florida.    Took his place back in the classroom on Thursday.

Lady Gaga flash mob held at Bachmann family clinic

 

Pray the gay away?   Nope,  dance the straight away perhaps. Who would have thought a flash mob of dancers would take on a the husband of a US presidential candidate.

However,  that’s what has happened because the said husband thinks that being gay can be cured right out people.  More from the state of hate Minnesota.

Bachmann’s comments, in which he referred to the gay community as “barbarians”, a flash mob of over 100 dancers descended on the driveway of the Bachmann & Associates clinic in full costume.

Linda Harvey Says Gay Bars Spread HIV/AIDS

 

Social conservative Linda Harvey is advocating for the closure of gay bars to stem the spread of HIV/AIDS, media watchdog group RightWingWatch.com reported.

Harvey is the founder of the Columbus, Ohio-based Mission America and is a frequent contributor to the conservative website WorldNetDaily.com, which is run by Joseph Farah.
