Oh it's a 'Brokeback Coalition' that's in charge of the UK, at least that's according to one MP in unguarded and overheard comments.
Yes, the UK's Prime Minister David Cameron of the Conservative party and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg of the Liberal Democrats, have reportedly been compared to the award winning gay cowboys in the Hollywood blockbuster movie 'Brokeback Mountain' by a senior Tory MP it's emerged today.
This rather unusual analogy was made by MP David Davis, who was allegedly overheard by journalists in a restaurant / wine bar in London. It's claimed that Davis repeatedly used the description of the partnership between Cameron and Clegg as "Brokeback Coalition". He also allegedly ridiculed the PM's "Big Society" vision as just "Blairite dressing" that was designed to camouflage his desire to shrink the state.
The wine bar the Boot and Flogger in London's Southwark, was where the conversation was supposedly overheard on Thursday, and is the first public signs of cracks with in the coalition government.
So far there's no word from the Number 10 as to which cowboy Cameron is and there is currently no plans for any fishing trips for the pair!
