Let's Have Some Christian Glee....

There's a wind of change blowing over from the Glee factory that may change the way we all view the show, that's become a worldwide smash hit.

In at interview in TV Guide, the shows creator,  Ryan Murphy tells of some changes about to happen in the next season of the show that unusually manages to grab a slice of audience from every age demographic.

Ryan Murphy has always tried to promote acceptance of  all in the show,  regardless of race, creed or sexual orientation.  Yet, however there's been a bit missing for  Fox's s more conservative fans.   Murphy plans to plug that gap!

"I'm adding a Christian character," he says in TV Guide.. "We've taken a couple jabs at the right wing this year, so what I want to do with this character is have someone who Christian kids and parents can recognize and say, 'Oh, look—I'm represented there, too!'  If we're trying to form a world of inclusiveness, we've got to include that point of view as well."

Of course there is no truth in the gossip that Fox demanded the show be more 'family'  more 'upright'       Yet, Murphy says this new character will speak her mind and be listened to and respected!!!  However,  she's set to alienate Kurt, whose homosexuality she won't accept, point blank.  She will also  object to some of the glee club's more sexually suggestive music selections.

Hmm,  so  are we going to see Christian bigotry and outright homophobia on screen in the new season of Glee then?  By the sounds of that,  yes we are,  but don't worry,  it's for the greater good,  it's about inclusiveness!  Let's just hope they don't loose the fun aspect of the show that's made it so popular and it take a turn down that realism road,   we have enough homophobia in real life to deal with,  without having splashed on our TV screens in guise of entertainment!
