NY fireman claims harassment!

A 43-year-old New York fire-fighter says his colleagues have harassed him and his department has discriminated against him since learning he is gay.
Steven Saunders of White Plains filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the city, its fire department and several officials.
Saunders says he confided to a deputy chief in 2008 that he was gay and the chief then told other fire-fighters. He says he was transferred to a position as a driver so he would not be sleeping in the same room as other fire-fighters.
Saunders says he was subjected to lewd remarks and gestures.
City spokesman John Callahan says the city hadn't seen the lawsuit but the allegations are not things they would tolerate.
Saunders says he has not worked since August because of anxiety and depression.
