Cambridge celebrations start tomorrow

In the UK  a new wave of gayness will hopefully sweep through society as February is Lesbian Gay Bisexual Trans (LGBT) History Month

Celebrations  will be launched tomorrow outside the city centre’s Guildhall by raising the rainbow flag and a performance from Cambridge’s Arco Iris samba band.

The month takes place every February and looks to educate, celebrate, and raise awareness about the issues faced by the gay community in the city.

There are events planned throughout the month, beginning tonight with Sir Ian McKellen talking at The Cambridge Union about his visits to secondary schools discussing gay tolerance.
