The Osbournes Party At Pride!
The streets of Los Angeles were packed on Saturday the the cities annual gay pride event, and mother and daughter, Kelly and Sharon Osbourne joined in the fun. They even took on anti-gay protesters where to go - and won !
Sharon and Kelly were invited to the parade to be 'Grand Marshals' and were quick to counter anti-gay insults hurled by a small group of 'Christian' protesters. Sharon Osbourne shouted: "You should be ashamed of yourselves!", while Kelly yelled: "My God loves gays!" the chant was taken up by the crowd, leading the protesters to shrink away.
This is another indication of how so called 'christians' are proving to be anything but christian! demonstrating themselves to be nothing more that narrow minded homophobic individuals, who really are letting down the Christian faith.
Max, a pride party person told me, "When they saw the protesters, they didn't seem daunted, or intimidated, they just took it in their stride, became even more vocal. They proved themselves to be 'true' friends of the gay community" Max also told how the protesters 'shrank away in shame' when noise from the chant 'God Loves Gays' became so loud. As they left, the crowed cheered and applauded.
Both mother and daughter have been long been strong and vocal supporters of the gay community, Kelly posed for photographs for the NOH8 campaign, they've both spoken out in support of gay marriage. "Kelly and Sharon were amazing. They didn't look intimidated by the protesters for one minute – if anything, it was exactly the opposite, they relished the fight!
