SJP thanks gay fans!

So, with box offices takings set to exceed $70 by the end of this weekend,  the  new Sex And The City movie  is really top of the polls and  'the' movie to see at the moment.
The lovely Sarah Jessica Parker   says it's so  vital that 'Sex and the City 2 movie '    shows more than a little affection  for their ''gay fan base''  because it is important to their audience and more importantly,  the gays were first to boost the TV shows ratings!

Carrie Bradshaw looks lovely in the new movie, and SJP who plays her told reporters at the UK premier believes the movie sequel should please the gay fans of the show and the first film,  as it features a glittery  same sex marriage!
She told them "It's important to our audience that we have affection for our gay fan base and we'll always acknowledge that. They were there first."
They all looked rather stunning at the premier, SJP was wearing a delightful Alexander 'Lee' McQueen dress and armband that paid tribute to the fashion designer that killed himself earlier this year. Kristin Davis  looked swish in glittery gold,  while  Kim Cattrall  looked amazing, and most definitely the hottest 53 year old in town,  I swear that woman just exudes class and sex from every pore!    Then the lovely, talented Cynthia Nixon completed the line of of the four glam 'girl's in a stunning blue number, causing one critic to almost faint,  saying "She's doesn't look like she's aged at all,  in fact, she's gone backwards,  she looks better now than she ever did"

Michael Patrick King, who created the show's creator, said that the  marriage between the show's gay characters Stanford Blatch and Anthony Marentino is a key part of the movie,   because of the vast gay following the last movie and the TV series had.
When asked about remember her first gay friend, Sarah Jessica Parker was more reflective,  telling how he was no longer alive,  "Matthew and I talked about it a lot because even though we were younger than some of our friends who passed away, we were very much a part of the first generation of people who were really affected by AIDS"
'It's so stunning to us how many people in our lives we lost.   And there seems to be young men that are now sick again, or are HIV positive, and I think it's because they are too young to have seen what happened 20 years ago, the devastation.'

They've now flown of to Tokyo where the asia premier will be held on Monday evening,  followed by a rather stylish after party,  which no doubt will see Kim leaving last!
