A sad day for the American People looms.
It’s the first major act of the new Congress, the Republican led House voted yesterday to repeal the Democrats' health-care reform, the bill that President Obama fought hard to get through.
It’s a pledge the Republican/Tea Party made during the autumn mid term elections. There was much force and the Republican party remained united, thanks to coercion to win the vote 245 to 189 vote, however, many in the media are agreeing that this is largely symbolic venture, for the repeal of the health care bill has little chance of being considered by the Democratic-controlled Senate.
The Republican/Tea Party have vowed to keep pushing to get the bill overturned, they will not stop until it is, some described the law as "socialistic," "a monstrosity" and a "dark chapter" in American history, yet the dark day would surly be the day to take the bill away, millions of American’s would then have no health care, millions more would be worse off by paying more health insurance.
According to a Republican insider, key party members have been told to make noise to show they would be willing to work with Democrats to form a new health care bill, but only if the current one is repealed.
Some Democrats say the Republicans have stayed on the side of the big insurance companies, who ultimately benefit greatly if the health care law is repealed. A charge that’s been denied, although over 85% of Republican/Tea Party members standing for election in the mid terms, received campaign funds or donations from health insurance companies.
