The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation in America is honouring movies, musicians TV shows and other media aspects that give a fair, inclusive and honest representations of the gay community. They have just announced nominees for its 22nd annual Media Awards, which will be given out during a series of ceremonies and events this spring.
The Film nominees include the lesbian drama "The Kids Are All Right," the musical "Burlesque," "Easy A," crime thriller "The Girl Who Played With Fire" and the video-game-inspired "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World."
The TV nominees include the enduring "Grey's Anatomy," vampish ''True Blood," ''Brothers & Sisters," funky ''Modern Family," unsurprisingly ''Glee" and "Nurse Jackie."
