Hundreds of gays march in Ensenada, Mexico.

An amazing event took place last week,  with hundreds of  gay, lesbian and bisexual people took part in the fifth gay Pride march to take place in Ensenada, Mexico.

"There was a big contingent of participants, who were surprised and thrilled by what was happening," said Lorenzo Herrera, organizer of Tijuana's annual Pride parade, who expressed disappointment as some of Ensenada's gay bars were not supportive of the march.

However,  it was still a major success,  many local groups took part, including some of the local police force.

This is one of the closest ports to America, being just 90 miles or so away from San Diego, California.
