Joan Rivers Binned Off FOX after Palin Pop


Legendary comic genius Joan Rivers what dropped from a US news channel FOX News interview after she had a moan about the Tea Party boss Sarah Palin.

Fox News cancelled the interview with the comedian after she described Palin as ‘Stupid and a threat" and blamed her for the recent attack on an Arizona congresswoman that also left six others dead.
The cancellation further reinforces proof in the growing belief Fox is doing all it can to promote Palin and shield her from criticism. Palin, who is an occasional Fox presenter, is guilty of contributing to the extreme political rhetoric, including a tweet to supports to “Don’t stand down, reload” which provided a backdrop to the incident in Tucson.


Rivers made her forthright comments in an interview with gossip network TMZ, in which she was asked if Palin should become US President.


In typical Rivers fashion she said "I think Sarah Palin is an amazing woman. I think she represents everything strong a woman can be, and I think she should go someplace – to another planet – to show them, and get out of our face,"


Joan was also asked on whether Palin should be blamed for the recent attack in Tucson. "They're right to blame Sarah for the shootings. Go look at her website. This woman is encouraging sandbaggers to reload ... this woman is just stupid and a threat," said Joan.



Shortly after the comments with TMZ, Rivers told CNN how her office were called and her appearance on FOX News show Fox and Friends, cancelled. "So now we call it Fox and Former Friends. They said to our PR lady it was because of what we said about Miss Palin."


Joan Rivers made his displeasure known on twitter “DON'T PISS OFF SARAH PALIN. She's apparently 'very powerful', and is obviously still smarting from the end of her reality show."


Of course the Rupert Murdoch’s Fox disputed Joan’s side of the story, they claimed "the volume of news topics" meant there was no room for her on the show. Those topics turned out to be National Penguin Awareness Day and an assessment of Steven Tyler's performance as a judge on American Idol!
