The four-night event starts off on February 23 as the pre-party night, following by the grand opening party for Phuket Gay Pride on the 24th and Phuket Pride Party Night on the 25th. On Saturday 26th, expect to see the colourful and fantastic ‘Afternoon Gay Pride Parade’ and the fun street party.

When Phuket first hit the news a celebrated newscaster on (back then) the UK's only commercial tv news pronounced it the way we all do in our heads and NOT how the BBC subsequently decided it should be.
I always remember the subsequently knighted newsreader's crimson face as he said it! (and it wasn't the one who was subsequently quietly retired when his permanently red face and slurred speech were 'outed' as chronic alcoholism).
